hunter 1500 Posted June 11, 2023 #1 Â Posted June 11, 2023 Is there info on this in the tech section ?
M61A1MECH Posted June 11, 2023 #2  Posted June 11, 2023 I do not see anything specific to front wheel removal, but Freebird was kind enough to make the maintenance manual available in PDF format. Try this link, https://www.venturerider.org/forum/forums/topic/62785-2018-star-venture-tc-service-manual-and-infotainment-manual/?do=getNewComment  Good luck with your project. Steve K Â
hunter 1500 Posted June 12, 2023 Author #3  Posted June 12, 2023 I guess there is no trick to it but I need a large hex head wrench to fit the axle bolt. Does anyone have an idea where to get one?
RDawson Posted June 15, 2023 #5  Posted June 15, 2023 Don’t forget the pinch bolt before loosening the axle. 1
N3FOL Posted July 7, 2023 #6  Posted July 7, 2023 I am also getting close to replace my front wheel since it is a 2018. Still a lot of rubber left and also inspecting the tire almost every week before any ride. So far so good. Need to shop for that large hex wrench, if I can find the correct size and purchase it individually ... not a set. Â

N3FOL Posted April 16 #8  Posted April 16 Finally got the chance to remove the front wheel and take it to the shop at 4 pm yesterday before they close in 1 hour.   Today, I’ll mount and go for a ride to the local hardware store.  1
N3FOL Posted April 18 #9  Posted April 18 Early this afternoon, I was able to mount the front tire and torqued to spec at 58 ft lbs.  per the manual.  As I proceeded to drain the oil, my wife told me if I can drive her to her appointment for a facial and massage.  She also offered me that I can get a facial and a massage at the same time.  Without any hesitation, I took a nice hot shower and followed the boss.  The oil change will have to wait until Friday morning.  😄
N3FOL Posted Tuesday at 01:08 AM #10  Posted Tuesday at 01:08 AM (edited) She is good to go.  Also got the chance to change the oil and filter.  Ride safe everyone.  As mentioned before, pic for attention.  😆 Edited Tuesday at 01:08 AM by N3FOL
