lonestarmedic Posted June 1, 2008 #1 Posted June 1, 2008 Evening all - just a small thing in the greater sceme of things. I stopped by the Ft. Sam Houston cemetary with MochaLady and visited Beer's dad. Thought I would post a picture so we all realize remebering veterans should be a 365 day a year job. Beer- thanks for letting me know he was there. I was able to say a prayer for my own dad at the same time. JB
Riderduke Posted June 1, 2008 #3 Posted June 1, 2008 Now this is what I call a family website. For a member to visit another members father's grave and say a quick prayer. It brings a tear to my eye. JB you are one hell of a guy. Remember our vets and thank them for our freedoms we enjoy.:usa:
SaltyDawg Posted June 1, 2008 #4 Posted June 1, 2008 That's really great of you to do that. Gene, Thank you for your fathers service to this great country. Semper Fi.

1BigDog Posted June 1, 2008 #7 Posted June 1, 2008 Very nice indeed. I cant add anything to this. I have to admit that when I saw the name prior to reading the post I had a cold chill run down my spine until I realized it was Genes Dad. I thought the worst for a second.

lonestarmedic Posted June 1, 2008 Author #12 Posted June 1, 2008 Folks it isn't about making friends or earning congratulations. It is always about what is right. I considered it an honor to visit Albert's grave. I thank you one and all for helping me recognize these past heros. With your help the wars of the past will be remembered. As it has been quoted "Those who do not remember tbe past are destined to repeat it". JB
