RoTorKev Posted June 7, 2023 #1 Posted June 7, 2023 Don’t make the same bone headed mistake I made. If you need a jump from a car, make sure the car is not running. They are both 12v, but the alternator from the car puts out more than 12v and much higher amperage than your bike. Just hooking up the cars battery will be plenty to start your bike. Thankfully it didn’t cause too much of a headache for me, but it could have been much worse. 3
