Pasta Burner Posted May 13, 2023 #1 Posted May 13, 2023 Anybody have any advice for helping out short leg riders reach the ground? I’ve got an 87 VR and love it. Problem is I have a 30” inseam and when I have the wifey with me I’m very unstable at stops, esp off camber intersections. I’m looking into boots with thicker soles but any suggestions are welcome. I don’t really want to modify the bikes suspension as I want it to perform as designed. I have an aftermarket Corbin seat that I wouldn’t mind having chopped if necessary.
Marcarl Posted May 13, 2023 #2 Posted May 13, 2023 Yep, thicker soles and lower the seat some. Bet you would be happy with a mere 2 inches.

N3FOL Posted May 14, 2023 #4 Posted May 14, 2023 I didn't modify my '07's suspension and I am just like most...I want to keep it the way it was designed. At 5'5", normal Timberland or Red Wing boots does the trick for me. 1
