Nebraska_Man1949 Posted April 3, 2023 #1 Posted April 3, 2023 Doing my own tire change on 2nd Gen RSV, I used HF wheel weights on the rear wheel and frankly they stick out like a sore thumb. I'm not concerned as you can't see them behind the saddlebags anyway. The front tire is exposed. Has anyone found wheel weights that are not as obvious?
BratmanXj Posted April 3, 2023 #2 Posted April 3, 2023 (edited) I got turned onto the RIDE-ON line a few years back and haven't "balanced" a tire since. Cleans up easily with a little soap and water, unlike the old SLIME products Ride-On Motorcycle Tire Balancer & Sealant 8oz Edited April 3, 2023 by BratmanXj
djh3 Posted April 4, 2023 #3 Posted April 4, 2023 I use balance beads. They say to "pour them" in thru the valve stem, but that takes forever and then some. I mount tire, then break bead on one side if it dosent look like it will seat easily and pour them in. Been using them since 2008
