Hello all,was just wondering if anyone did a step by step visual(pictures) service job on their first gen Venture for the starter clutch? Was searching this section and couldn't find any...Any help in this would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!!!

It’s in the manual that’s downloadable here. A tip for you: use a good puller on the flywheel, get it set and use a strap to tie it to the bike. When the flywheel comes loose it’ll usually launch itself. I tighten the puller down and give it a couple sharp raps with a hammer, tighten again-rap again ……. It’ll pop all at once. Some people get the puller tight and walk away until the launch.

Lots of tension, a good strap and a box of rags to catch the results. Now a good solid punch and a heavy hammer and rap the clutch with the punch and hammer right close to the shaft. Might help.

I recommend a heavy brass punch.
