Had an Ultimate seat(I think that is the name) Had to carry the covers in saddle bags as seat was not waterproof! Put up with the covers as it was very comfortable. That's what I got someone said to spray it every now and then with water proofing like goes on tents, I think that maybe an idea what do you think?

sleepy2 Posted July 30, 2023 #78 Posted July 30, 2023 @Woody don't know about water proofing but I just got used to using leather protecting cream and my covers as it might be a conflict that might get sticky or counteract between the 2 chemicals. My covers were very easy to put on and take off also to ride with them on. Since they were so comfortable for me I just kept using them.Personal choice I guess! 1

Look into the Nikwax site. I have used their products for years on all my camping and outdoor gear and have never been let down. They have a variety of products for water proofing different types of materials and a very informative web site on what and how to use on what. https://www.nikwax.com/en-us/ 2 1

Pasta Burner Posted August 7, 2023 #86 Posted August 7, 2023 Rode 150 miles out to Bonneville salt flats for speed week but it was a bust, track is currently flooded, they’re hoping to race Tuesday. Might take a day off work toward the end of the week and go back if they’re running. The ride was a success though five bikes, one cage and nine people in our I 2
Pasta Burner Posted August 7, 2023 #87 Posted August 7, 2023 Also was prepared with chairs and shade. EZ up tent fit nice on the hitch mount, didn’t even notice it. 1

Yeah speed week is something I always watched on Tv growing up and have been wanting to attend since I was like 14. So after finally moving within reasonable distance seven years ago I got a chance to check it out. Lots of years it’s flooded out or I just plain forget until it’s over. Apparently there is another event in September by a different association

Woody Posted September 15, 2023 Author #91 Posted September 15, 2023 I guess we didn't get enough while riding North Carolina had go for a ride today up on Cheaha State Park 1
Woody Posted October 4, 2023 Author #92 Posted October 4, 2023 Had a diverse group of bikes yesterday, went on about 125 mile ride and my sister in law on the white scooter has never ridden more than 60 miles on her on so yesterday was quite the ride for her we did stop about half way and eat some good BBQ. Great day for a ride the weather was good the leaves are changing and the roads were not crowded, she would not get over fifty MPH so it made for a nice slow ride and even the driver got to look around to see some things. 1
Woody Posted February 23 Author #93 Posted February 23 We took a ride yesterday our first for the year, I didn't realize how much I needed it until we were riding it was a windy day but 71 degrees and felt good. I wanted to ride before I changed the oil and hopefully I'll be able to tell if the T6 changes anything as far sounds coming from the motor. 70 miles of back roads and back home it was a good ride. 4
Woody Posted April 15 Author #94 Posted April 15 Took a ride yesterday put a few more miles on the bike, nice country roads but as usual when I just follow the front tire I found a road I wish I hadn't, don't know why the county paves a road and then don't keep it up James was riding a two wheel and couldn't miss all the holes it would have been better to leave it gravel then the locals could keep it up. But besides that it was a great ride and yes we stopped to eat. Good day and a Good ride overall. Trina's Dad is having back surgery again so I figured I would get her out on the bike for a while it worked she said it got him off her mind for a while.
RDawson Posted April 15 #95 Posted April 15 We went out Saturday, probably the most expensive 150 miles we ever rode. Spent $12 on gas, $40 on lunch, stopped by a motorsports store and accidentally dropped the deposit on an 18’ aluminum fishing/hunting boat. 😱😱😱. We just planned to look and pick out something to put on our wish list and start saving for. 1

I’m having the motor swapped out for more HP, they put the smallest one it’s rated for on it. Should get it in a few weeks. Edited April 15 by RDawson
