ReinyRooster Posted February 25, 2023 #1 Posted February 25, 2023 I have the pillow top seat on my 09 RSV and dont find it all that comfy for me......would be interested in a swap of some sort if anyone has a different seat that wants to trade.
1BigDog Posted February 26, 2023 #2 Posted February 26, 2023 Have you considered having Rick Butler do his mod to it? He recently did mine and it’s so much better 1
Freebird Posted February 26, 2023 #3 Posted February 26, 2023 I agree with ou about the pillow top seat. Lot's of people just love it but to me, it is WAY soft. Feels good when you first get on it but only good for a few miles.
ReinyRooster Posted February 26, 2023 Author #4 Posted February 26, 2023 Shipping to Rick's would be too expensive from this side of the border. Hoping somebody in Ontario might be interested in a swap or sale.
sleepy2 Posted February 27, 2023 #5 Posted February 27, 2023 Love my pillow top seat on my 2012 which has almost 180,000klms on it. It's been to Illinois and many other states for rallies and maintenance days. Was driven to work every day except winter snow on roads. Was road so much that it has split at several seams and needs to be repaired but haven't had a chance to get done. Son says great nephew does appolstery work but might need more material. Have looked on sights but replacement seats are way out of my affordable price range or too far away.
slowrollwv Posted March 9, 2023 #6 Posted March 9, 2023 Hay Reiny are you still looking for a seat? I have a Saddleman Road Soffa that I am not using. If you would be interested in trying it.
ReinyRooster Posted March 14, 2023 Author #7 Posted March 14, 2023 Sorry for the delay in reply, just got home late yesterday from a week in the Dominican Republic. I would be interested....where are you located?
larrydr Posted March 17, 2023 #9 Posted March 17, 2023 I enjoy reading quotes about all the you all are riding out there , and I can tell that all bikes are a lot newer than what I am riding .the latest / newest ride on my yard is 1983 ..I have often wondered what it would feel like to ride a bike not more than 10 years old ..There is some satisfaction in repairing a 50 year old bike and getting fit for the road .
slowrollwv Posted March 17, 2023 #10 Posted March 17, 2023 Well My ride was only 2yrs old when I got it but she turns 20 this year. And my newest ride is a 1995 H-D Road Glide that my brother owned till he passed four years ago.
