uncledj Posted February 5, 2023 #1 Posted February 5, 2023 Lisa and I went and saw an ABBA Tribute band last night at the Woodward Theater in Mt. Vernon, OH. Woodward Theater is claimed to be the oldest still functioning opera house in the US. Wasn't quite ABBA, but still a fun night. Those so inclined were welcomed to dance on the floor level, and I was surprised to see just how many folks were down there having a good time I believe it was called an ABBA Dance Party. Name of the band was Dancing Queen. If they perform down your way, you may want to check them out.
Freebird Posted February 5, 2023 #2 Posted February 5, 2023 Eileen and I go to a number of tribute band concerts. All are ok. Some better than others of course. We have tickets a the end of February in the Lorain Palace to see a Pink Floyd tribute band. It's a bit outside our norm but should be good.
skydoc_17 Posted February 5, 2023 #3 Posted February 5, 2023 Somehow, the vision of you in a cowboy hat, boots and a vest on at a "Pink Floyd" concert is going to take a few therapy sessions to remove from my addled brain!! LOL!! Just kidding Don, have a great time, don't eat any mushrooms, and don't forget to practice making the "Peace Sign" before you go, By Golly! (Jean just smacked me in the back of the head after reading over my shoulder, I hope you're happy!) Love ya' Man! Earl and Jean 2
