New to the Star Venture

Hi everyone, I’m fairly new here and want to say thanks for this forum!!

 

I drove a 2018 Venture in 2020 and loved it but wasn’t ready to pull the trigger and finally picked up a white 2021 SVTC and am loving this bike. My background is dirt bikes and crotch rockets and I’m getting older so I figured the SVTC will help keep me sane being it won’t pull the wheel off the ground lol. I’m not a member of what I call the “donor” class as I drive defensively but rather an adrenaline junky on those bikes and am much more mellow  with this big beast.

Welome again.  I hope you love the bike.  In most opions, they are one of the best kept secrets of the motorcycle industry.

Thank you and I agree with that statement. I was initially going to get a RoadGlide bc I wanted a cruiser with the frame mounted fairing. I didn’t know about the SVTC but stumbled on it the same day as I test drove the RG and it’s a far superior bike IMO. It seems many bashed it bc it wasn’t water cooled so their reviews were biased and I assume it hurt the sales of it which is sad.

Was that a typo?   The Yamaha is water cooled. Oops, never mind.  You said you bought a SVTC.  Sorry, you are correct.  I still agree that they are a great bike.  Tons of torque.
