DragonRider Posted November 10, 2022 #1 Posted November 10, 2022 Couldn't stay off the bike, I was going stir crazy so I went out and bought another bike that I can tinker on and ride. 1999 Valkyrie Interstate. 4
Freebird Posted November 10, 2022 #2 Posted November 10, 2022 I test rode one of those the same week I bought my new RSV in ‘99. Almost bought it but the seating position of the RSV was better for me. Nice bike.
Motorcycle Mike Posted November 11, 2022 #6 Posted November 11, 2022 Love it! So we will see you at Vogel next year right? 1
Red Ryder Posted November 11, 2022 #7 Posted November 11, 2022 Welcome Back, sweet looking bike, enjoy, Later-
DragonRider Posted November 11, 2022 Author #8 Posted November 11, 2022 Don the position is entirely different from the V Star and the Venture, but I will get use to it. I never realized the Valk was so big till I sat on it, but I can put both feet flat on the ground with ease. Totally different animal it is!!
N3FOL Posted November 11, 2022 #9 Posted November 11, 2022 Glad to hear you are back riding. To me, the Valkyrie truly has some unique styling during its time. Enjoy and be safe.
ragtop69gs Posted November 11, 2022 #10 Posted November 11, 2022 A Valkyrie interstate was what I was looking for but couldn't find within 500 miles me. The ad for my RSV kept coming up so I went and looked, the rest is history.
Skid Posted December 10, 2022 #11 Posted December 10, 2022 Fantastic! Didn’t know as I just saw this thread. The Valkyrie are definitely one that stands out and can be recognized by the unique design. I loved the Venture but the Ultra Classic feels much more nimble to me. Since you’re back “in the saddle” I expect to see you on the road more in 2023. 1 1
