Sandro17 Posted September 15, 2022 #1 Β Posted September 15, 2022 (edited) Hello RS riders, hope everyones having a great day. I got this problem right here, some Fluid is leaking from the left side of the cover. I think it wonβt be difficult to fix, just need some guidance and advise how to do it. Thanks. And safe ride to everyone out there ππ»π€π»π€π» IMG_9804.MOV Edited September 15, 2022 by Sandro17
RDawson Posted September 15, 2022 #2 Β Posted September 15, 2022 Replace the freeze plugs. Screw the small end of a spark plug into it and pull it out. Donβt run it without the fake fins on it, they are all that hold the pugs in.Β 2
circa1968 Posted September 15, 2022 #3 Β Posted September 15, 2022 Yes, that's your freeze/drain plug.Β When changing your coolant, you need to pull all four out to drain the coolant that still surrounds the cylinder.Β Not sure what will happen if you pull it prior to draining the whole system though, you might get more than you bargained for. 2
etcswjoe Posted September 15, 2022 #4 Β Posted September 15, 2022 You can put a dime between it and the cover as a temp fix. 2
