Pasta Burner Posted September 11, 2022 #1 Â Posted September 11, 2022 This is a confirmed ARI. Â Cleaning out the garage and had to move some things around. Â Had a tip over and smashed my wind deflectors. Â Luckily it seems only the hardware broke and I should be able to piece it back together.
Freebird Posted September 11, 2022 #2 Â Posted September 11, 2022 You shouldn't have done that. Â Â Glad it wasn't worse. Â 1
Marcarl Posted September 11, 2022 #3 Â Posted September 11, 2022 Rule number 1,,, never, ever, or ever clean out your garage,,,, just build a new one,,, so many advantages. 4
Pasta Burner Posted September 25, 2022 Author #4  Posted September 25, 2022 (edited) So I was going to piece back my mistake but it looks like the hardware is plastic threaded rod.  Does that seem right?  I’m imagining they did this to act like a shear pin and save the deflectors.  Thoughts?  And anyone know where to find threaded plastic rod locally? Edited September 25, 2022 by Pasta Burner
PastorCurt Posted September 25, 2022 #5 Â Posted September 25, 2022 Maybe you could find some stainless ready rod and paint it black 1
RDawson Posted September 25, 2022 #6  Posted September 25, 2022 Lowe’s or hardware stores have white plastic bolts and nuts. Not sure about black. 1
