:cool10:OH Happy Day!

:cool10:

My youngest son finally landed a full time job a year and a half after he finished school. His degree is in physics and this job is right up that alley. He will be doing some kind of lab work. Yesterday he had his third interview with them and they called back in the afternoon to see if he could start this morning. He was up with the chickens bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7:30 (that's real early for him...LOL) and off to work with lunch in hand at 8:00. I told him he had bankers hours. Sure hope this works out for him. Mom would have been so proud.

Gainfully employed! YES! I love adult children that are gainfully employed, responsible tax paying adults. Congratulations to him. Congratulations to you too! That's fantastic.

I will never forget a phone message our oldest daughter received after interviewing with the firm she's with. The senior hiring partner called and wished she good luck with her career and hoped that it would be with them. Two weeks later she got the official letter offering her the job of her dreams

Congratulations. I'm jealous. I've got two young ones that are still in college. One at least has a full time summer job. The other one is looking. Tough times out there though. Glad your son found his first. Best of luck to you both.

No, Matt his still writing his thesis. He said he his getting close to being finished though. He's applying here and there and actually got an interview with Diamond Aircraft in London. He's planning to move to London in Sept. and is concentrating his job hunt in that area.

Great News Gary. My son was out of work for almost one year, so I know how happy and relieved that makes a parent feel when they get a good job.:hurts:

Congratulations again.
