I would like to take one to Maintenance day or pick it up there and get some assistance in putting it on.

You just unbolt the lights from the front of the forks, insert the spacer and then bolt it back on. Just thought an extra set of hands at MD, might be a good thing.

Thanks, I was hoping it was that easy, I am sure an extra set of hands holding the lite bar would be a good thing. Craig

Folks,

As certain situations dictate when and how many of these spacers I have avilable I would prefer to just list them on ebay when I have them. This way I'm not having to turn people away. Sorry for any inconvenience but this works best for me.

Bill....

PS, If anyone locally has a vertical mill they would like to rent time to me on please PM me.

Got the spacer yesterday and already left Ebay feedback. Thanks. What hardware will I need to mount the spacer and the light bar?

Thanks,

Yep, Bill just PM'd me. Cool! Thought I had read another thread that you had to get them. Hadn't really looked the package over that well.

Folk's

I'm not sure if all the original bolts that came with your light bars are the same, but when I did mine I was able to reuse the stainless steel button head cap screws to fasten the spacer back on the bike. I just put the black socket head cap screws in with the spacer just in case.

Thanks Again

Roadkill do your self a favor and use the bolts that BMW sent. The Button head ones tend to soft and will round out easier. I had to grind the head off one of those to take my bar off the front and I replaced them with the cap screws that BMW provides. It uses a bigger ball head allen key and will not round out as easy.

Will do. thanks for the heads up. Every chance I get and where its applicable I like to switch to hex heads too. Started doing that after the saddlebag fiasco! :whistling:

Ok, how has these spacers, and will they ship to Canada? I've been in touch with BMW and he hasn't shipped to Canada. BMW, if you're going to Freebird's Maintenance Day, can you bring one with you? Just asking, thanks.

Get with me Saturday Jay and we'll put it on, wont take any time at all.

Thanks my friend. Looks so easy I may do it before I leave if I have time. I'll have my son help me. At 11 he still likes to do things with Dad
