BAGMAN Posted March 10, 2007 #1 Posted March 10, 2007 Anybody out there have a 99 model tour deluxe with 4 into 2 pipes that have put slip on mufflers on their bike? Mine has the Y pipe welded to the muffler. Is 99 the only year that has this?, it looks like the Y pipe would have to be cut and modified to make a slip on fit.

Guest BillFoltz Posted May 6, 2007 #3 Posted May 6, 2007 I currently have lightly used Bub mufflers which are in excellent condition. I want to put OME mufflers back on the bike; therefore, I would like to sell them. What are they worth? Does anyone have some OME mufflers that they are will to part with?
tazmocycle Posted May 7, 2007 #4 Posted May 7, 2007 bagman, you will have to cut off the muffler to put slipon on you bike. it's been a while since i did mine but will try to find out check here and see if anyone on this site can answer your Qs http://forums.delphiforums.com/royalstar/start most of us riyal rider have the 96-01 standard royals.
BAGMAN Posted May 11, 2007 Author #5 Posted May 11, 2007 Yeah it looks like I'm going to have to do some Fabbing to make slip ons work. I also noticed on the newer models the mufflers clamp vertically where mine clamps horizontally. theres also an extra bracket near the front muffler clamp on the newer models. I think I might go with aftermarket road king mufflers since there's billions of these available. Thats the thing about HD's, you can go to just about any swapmeet and find a ton of parts for them.
