RIVCO Center Stand Question ???

Anyone ever had a problem with their RSV leaning off center while on a Rivco Center Stand ? I checked the garage floor and it is level. My bike leans to the right wheather it is pulled in or backed in, so it's not the floor. I called Rivco and they are having me send it in to have it checked out... Everything looks straight under the bike, but my eyes aren't as good as they used to be.

PS... This is an awesome site. I purchased an 07 blue/black RSV last Summer, and using the post on this site, I have set up, worked on and accessorized my bike to be one fine ride... Thanks to all !!!!

Anyone ever had a problem with their RSV leaning off center while on a Rivco Center Stand ?

 

I heard a while back that Rivco's chrome center stand comes with one leg that is shorter than the other.

If I remember correctly, it was the left leg that was a little shorter..

If you have not sent it back yet, yuo can measure them yourself to determine which one is shorter..

Once you figure it out, take a couple photos and include one in the box when you do return it showing how the measurment was taken and how you determined it being off..

tape the photo to the stand..

I also heard that thier chromed parts are "superior"......real nice job in chroming..

Hey Leonard:

I'll update you as soon as I hear something from Rivco. Thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only one with this problem, I may relay that to Rivco... If anyone else has this problem, please post it for me.

I've been to the Rivco place several times. The owner and the guys there are great.

They should take care of your problems.
