I am running some Carb problems on my 83 1200 , and rather than put a large amount of cash into the old carbs I would  make a single Carb manifold ...The difficulty I see is getting the fuel jet sizes right ...I have built manifolds before , it does take some time to the fit right ...  I have a Carb from a Chevy S10 4 cylinder truck ...The local muffler shop will bend me short 90 degree tubes ...  Please someone tell that I am crazy and that I need to see my doctor ..

Its been done before. There should be some threads on this site someware on the process. i thought they was useing vw carb but i might be wrong. I think throttle response was the big problem.

@BlueSky,,@campfire12 ,, I know I can make manifold for about $75.00  ...The carb  has secondary response system much like the GM Quadrajet carbs have that is used on the small block V8 engines
