Hi Folks,

I need a lift adapter for my 97 RS BLVD. I don't have any welding equipment, but I suppose I could make an adapter from wood. Prior to breaking out the saw, I thought I might check to see if anyone has one for sale. Appears Carbon_One and other eBay sellers are no longer making and selling them. I have sent emails and received no replies.

Thanks,

Ken

The one that Carbon One makes will not work on the original Royal Stars, they only work on the Venture based models. The rear shock arrangement is different on the two models and on the early models it interferes with the lift adapter. I would assume that to be the same for the ones on Ebay as they appear to be knock offs of Carbon One's design.  When I had my 98 Royal Star Tour Classic I made some 1-1/2" thick spacer blocks out of hardwood, the only one that required any special attention was the one used on the left front, it needed to be notched out to miss the safety switch on the side stand.  Many folks just used hockey pucks for spacers.

Thanks M61A. I wasn't aware my bike was different under the belly. Guess my fallback plan of making one from wood might be the way I will move forward.

I built one for the RSV. I still use it on the Victory with a slight addition of some spacers. I suppose you could fabricate one out of wood.
