Marcarl Posted June 5, 2022 Share #111 Posted June 5, 2022 Finally the wooden shoes show up. Did you redo those as well. Wondered how long we had to wait for them.
Dutch Navigator Posted June 6, 2022 Author Share #112 Posted June 6, 2022 These were new. I had wooden shoes when I was a little kid. It takes a while before your feet get used to these wooden shoes (Dutch: 'klompen'). There are still farmers in my village wearing these every day. All our grandkids and great grandkids have one, just to be able to get their goodies from grandma on Dec 05, Sinterklass.

Dutch Navigator Posted June 20, 2022 Author Share #117 Posted June 20, 2022 (edited) Well, today was D-Day part one: battery power back to the bike. Everything worked, no fuses blown, no smoke. Great! Almost....... We can't get the cassette out of the cassette player. The cassette is running and we heard some awful 'German Schlagermuzik', but the cassette doesn't come out of the player and the dash says 'Err'. Is there a way to release the cassette? (End of the weak is D-Day part two: trying to start the engine!) Edited June 20, 2022 by Dutch Navigator

Honestly, can't be of help on that one, unless you want it butchered.
Dutch Navigator Posted June 21, 2022 Author Share #119 Posted June 21, 2022 There is a limit to our mental health and listening to this 'music'.....😇. We'll figure it out.

Now there is a double oxymoron, mental and health? and then listening for a Dutchman? There's truth in the figuring out statement though.
