Dutch Navigator Posted August 22, 2021 Author Share #7 Posted August 22, 2021 (edited) Well, here's the whole story. My colleague Marco passed away at the end of May 2021 at the age of 56. He left me this motorcycle. Together with a friend we decided to fix the bike. Technically the bike is 100%, engine, gearbox, clutch and brakes are fine. There is a lot going on, especially optically, because the Yamaha has been outside under a tarp for years, near the sea. A lot of chrome has been affected and there are steel brackets where no paint can be found at all. We will have it partly re-chromed and powder coated. We want to paint the bike in twotone, probably red/black. Our goal, well sort of. Engine and engine parts will be black matt. Long way to go: Mufflers (if someone has these laying around, please contact me): No paint left at all: Used to be chrome: Edited August 22, 2021 by Dutch Navigator
