Steve S Posted July 11, 2021 #1 Posted July 11, 2021 Hello EasyRiders. The clutch on my RSV feels weak and I want to upgrade the clutch spring. I have seen several EBC springs for sale at a decent price. Do these springs do a good job on the RSV? If not, could you reccomend a better spring? Thank you. Steve
RDawson Posted July 11, 2021 #2 Posted July 11, 2021 (edited) I used the spring from @skydoc_17 in both my bikes. I don’t remember if it’s an EBC or not. Works great even when I’m two up pulling a trailer. Others swear by the Barnett set but I’ve not tried it. How about that big boat on Barkley? Me n the wife put the boat in Friday and checked it out. luvmy40 Posted July 11, 2021 #3 Posted July 11, 2021 I'd highly recommend going with Skydoc_17's clutch kit. It gets rid of the half friction disc and has a stiffer spring. It just works. 2
Squidley Posted July 11, 2021 #4 Posted July 11, 2021 Like mentioned, Skydoc17 is the easiest way to go. His kit has all you'll need and instructions to boot.
