Mileage shows up wrong in Classifieds?

Every time I look at classifieds the "distance" from me is shown incorrect? Anyone know how to correct that?

If you entered the wrong zip code, you have to delete that cookie in your browser and then when you go back to the classifies, it will be blank and you can enter it again. You don't have to clear all your cookies if you don't want to. Just open your cookies and search for zip and it will come up. Delete it and then go back to the classifieds and you can enter it again.

 

Unfortunately, that may not be the case. The zipcode database leaves a lot to be desired. It seems to be wrong fairly often but usually not all that bad. I find that on anything a long ways off, it is usually a couple hundred miles off. I figure they are calculating it by straight/air miles and not by roads.
