cruis controll crap

i was working as mechanic at a yamaha dealer in 83 when the ventures came out. but i never had to go very deep into any repairs on them, so i'm not sure, but does the faring have to come off to replace the throttle cable on cruis control models?

I haven't had to replace the throttle cables on CC equiped model, but the left side fairings have to come off to replace the throttle cables on the standard model, so it's a safe bet they will have to come off for you as well. Possibly the right side too.
