larrydr Posted April 22, 2021 #2 Posted April 22, 2021 I maybe turning my 83 Venture into a trike ...Doing some design work now and making a aluminum materials list and inquiring prices . Have heard some debate on the best rear end to use ....Not going to be an easy project
RDawson Posted April 22, 2021 #3 Posted April 22, 2021 Hannigan uses Ford car rear ends, they cut them down and make the independent suspension axles. The pumpkin needs to be mounted upside down as drive shaft rotation on the bike is opposite of a car.
Pro procrastinator Posted April 23, 2021 #4 Posted April 23, 2021 What type of ford axle? Like a 60's or 70's car axle or something more specific?
RDawson Posted April 23, 2021 #5 Posted April 23, 2021 (edited) I know the used the later rear drive Cougar and T-Bird pumpkins, not sure what else. They are 7.5” rear ends. Edited April 23, 2021 by RDawson
