Im wondering if @Rick Butler is even still doing this.  Im new to the forum but have seen a lot or others saying they couldnt reach him.  Ive never done anything like the seats and wouldnt even know where to start.

What are you trying to accomplish, and what seat / bike do you have??

I wanted to firm up my seat, so I cut some out of it, added carpet pad, it worked well.  3M makes a great spray adhesive that sticks foams together, and a electric knife trims like butter.

Type of bike? Have you taken the seat off it? Is the leather / vinyl simply stapled onto the seat pan? An electric knife does wonders.  OR take seatcover off, head to hobby shop, sewing shop, or internet, buy new piece of foam, trim to your liking, yet still have old foam just in case you would rather go back stock.
