Handle bar clutch reservoir

I just picked up my first XVZ1300CT. The handle bars need rebuilt and the clutch lever and reservoir need to be replaced. 
 

before I go OEM, is there an upgrade that eleminates the lever reservoir?

 

or just an upgrade?

Unfortunately the reservoir has to be above the master to be able to feed the fluid into the master.

Take a look at the XJ750RH front brake system. The lever actuates the master which is mounted below the top triple tree via cable linkage. It might be possible to modify this to work for your clutch. Not sayin' it'll be easy, but...
