Thank you for the welcome Freebird . This is 50 years following tar trails  Still enjoying the ride . Rode all types but the Venture has always been my heartbeat , on my 8th one now , still get out the ST1300 for the occasional blast to keep me young . Thanks again , I'm sure I'll enjoy the comradeship.

Thank you for the add.  I currently ride a Kawi 1000SX sport tourer and would like to learn more about the ownership and riding experience with the Star Venture. This is a bike I'm considering purchasing in the next couple years.  Any news about whether Yamaha will continue production of this bike?

I honestly don’t know.  It’s a great bike but I think sales have been disappointing.   I think they will likely give it a ten year run but am just not sure.

Hey ya'll. Went to the old site, venturers looking for my old 1.st gen pics of the Jason Mod that I posted a couple decades ago, & found nothing about it.  Doing a general google search on "Jason Mod" dropped into your lap.  So far, so good.     My history: Like Steve Martin, started out at the bottom, I born a poor Greek child.   Live in Palm Coast, ride an 06 RSV with the Jason Mod, that I'd recommend to anyone.  Before that, an 89 VR. Do miss the shock pump on the control panel.
