george c Posted May 25, 2008 #1 Posted May 25, 2008 hi all just got this in today from wingstuff  http://www.wingstuff.com/codebase/data/magick_cache/0cae441cc683bacb24ff22d5e5cb44b9.gif i hooked them up in my wife's and my helmets today and the question is this we have a clicking in the speakers (headsets) it sounds like a spark click what do y'all think it is thanks George C
Ferrantelli Posted May 25, 2008 #2 Posted May 25, 2008 Got the same set for my wife no problems here. I only hear the click if I am hooked up before her, than when she plugs in I hear the click. I say if it is happening when you are riding I would check all the connections.
BJB Posted May 25, 2008 #3 Posted May 25, 2008 Hi George. Don't know what bike you have, but on my 1st gen 89 I get the clicking sound...only when the intercom is on...and only when idling. As soon as rpm's go up it is gone. By the way, if the intercom is on and my wife isn't it still clicks. Maybe its a "wife" thing?

BuddyRich Posted May 26, 2008 #5 Posted May 26, 2008 Mine will click if turned up past 12 or so. Rearranging the wires under tank has had some good results in fixing the problem if I remember right.
