Oh Tip n I are definitely voting for the right one only in my home State of Michigan, our Governor will not allow early walk in voting. If we want to vote early our only option is by mail and around here, Lord only knows what happens to our poor ballots once you drop em in a mail box.. We have to vote in person on Nov 3rd if we really want to know our vote matters which, if that is no concern,, why vote? IMHO of course..

Yeah, lots of interest in the US election all over.  I've been watching a lot of skynews australia on utube and they are highly interested.  we voted yesterday. In NC in person voting has been going on the last two weeks.  And the SCOTUS has ruled that NC absentee ballots can be counted up to 9 days after Nov 3 if they are postmarked by Nov 3!!!???  WTF?

Not to get too involved in American politics But whoever you all vote for I hope you people strongly consider who is going to be the best suited , most responsible and intelligent candidate to deal  with keeping your society healthy in this covid crisis. I realize there are other issues that are also on the table but for the sake of all of you I hope you put your health first the other issues are meaningless if your too sick to care. I realize there are alot out there that still do not believe covid exits but better to be a live fool than a sick or dead skeptic.

I am 100% sure that either POTUS candidate will continue the aggressive approach to Covid that has been being taken under our current administration.  Without a doubt, the production of ventilators and Vaccine research that America knows the world depends on will not be ceased no matter who wins in Nov IMHO.  The U.S. people will remain united in its effort to conquer the evil that the Chinese Communist Party released onto the world.  On the same token though,  and I know this is deeply an American thing and I personally would never expect a non U.S. Citizen to understand the depth of this because, quite frankly, it seems there are many actual U.S. Citizens this means nothing to, but take a second Bum and read what one of our countries Patriots of long ago wrote, this was penned by Patrick Henry back in 1775 and I assure you, there are many many American Patriots that still cling to and believe that there really are some things much more important than life itself = "Give me Liberty or give me death".  Hopefully this shines a light for you to understand that no, Covid and the fear of it are not at the top of the list of reasons many Americans are indeed voting for the right person to lead them.

I don’t understand how the Covid became so politicized other than an opportunity to blame someone. A virus cannot be controlled by a politician but panic can be controlled by media. My area has been partly shut down for months, masks required, and numbers are climbing.  I may get it, I may die from it but I refuse to hide from it, blame it on my right of freedom or on my stupidity if you want. Now here are some facts, researched and checked: 

Percentage of deaths of US population. .07% or 1/1500. 
Percentage of deaths of positive cases 2.5%. 
I voted for who I believe to be best for the country, not who thinks they control my health.

Puc I get the give me liberty or give me death thing but I do believe it means to fight for your liberty and with the tools and weapons you need to do so. Not lay down your arms, turn your back on the enemy and allow yourself  to get shot down because you think they will just walk away. You take every possible measure you can, to defend yourself against the enemy. In this case covid is the enemy with masking and social distancing being the weapons in this battle. Putting your head in the sand and refusing to take proper steps to protect yourself and loved ones from this enemy is not fighting Its expecting the enemy to just get up and walk away.

Now before I really get myself into trouble I am going to crawl back in my corner. But do understand I state my opinion only because I care about you guys and do not want to see or hear of any of you getting sick because I hope to once again be able to rub elbows with you all laughing and joking in person like we were able to do before this tragedy struck.

Personally I do not see either side or anyone I know laying down our weapons, sticking our heads in the sand hoping the enemy just walks away Ben.  There is a big difference in approach to Communist China's open attack on the free world by each party in the U.S. though.  Personally, I am privy to a lot of the science behind the virus (I have a daughter who is front line on the research and development of tools for handling it) but I truly have no better access to this knowledge than anyone who wanted to trash listening to Gov propaganda and do their own research. Just to bring you up to speed, cause I love you too, this wearing a mask thing is nonsense UNLESS you are properly wearing an N95 mask or better.  Wearing of anything less has zero effect in protection. Also, any facial hair must be removed and the masks must be fit properly.  Actually, the make up of this weaponized virus is of such that a proper fitting full blown resparator is about your surest way of protection with wearing a full blown haz mat suit with resporator and decontaminate shower between changes and then living in a bubble protection environment being about the way of absolute protection.  Like it or not,, all of that is fact..

One of the things that we Americans have always enjoyed about the freedom/liberty the blood of our countrymen/women has purchased for us (I have a hunch that we should all take another peek at the true definition of Liberty - IMHO, many have forgotten what it really is) is that many of us in America who have grown to love and treasure the Freedom/Liberty our Constitutional way of life affords us do not appreciate Government controlling our lives. Passing on vital information such as I wrote above - yes,, closing down our country and locking us inside "for our own protection" - absolutely NOT.. Individual Liberty is lost when that type of socialism peeks its head out IMHO.  Perhaps what you see as running and hiding/sticking our heads in the sand hoping the enemy will just disappear is something some of us Americans see as boldly facing the enemy and not allowing those who have sold out our country and have authority over us to trick us (thru propoganda) or force us into surrendering our individual liberties and freedoms by allowing something like the Covid virus to dominate our lives..  Something to think about..

Sorry if I hurt your feelings again @Patch, as my response was clearly stated to @saddlebum and not yourself and in response to some of the statements he made in a previous comment to myself. I make no apology for you reading the material as that is your right but I do apologize for you having any hurt feelings for having done so. I was simply responding to a post by a friend of mine to help clear up any misunderstanding the two of us may have about each others opinions of the matter. 

I am not sure what you meant in your warning to me. Perhaps you would care to explain what is meant by being able to "make this Poof"?  Is that something you learned back in your day of being an enforcer for the mob that you told me about in chat a while back or is that something accomplished thru asking @Freebird or @Marcarl to close this thread?
