New Members Map

I've added a new "Members Map" and the link is in the menu bar at the top called "Community Map".  You don't need to do anything, it will add you automatically if your country, state, etc. are in your profile.  It will take a few days before it adds everybody.  It only adds 100 per day due to API key restrictions and etc.  So please be patient.  

Also, only Supporting members will be listed.

No, we had a member map on the old site also.   So far, I’ve found no solution for the flags.

I just checked and it has me in the right city, but the wrong state.  I guess y'all will never find me.  😁

It had me in Ontario. I used the my location feature and now it has me back in Minnesota. Nice feature.

Good idea.  You can move your marker.  This map uses Mapquest and apparently isn’t 100% accurate.

I don't think he is as old as some, but I suppose the memory thing is necessarily age related.

Me thinks the map has a hick up or three. it shows Robin and me in Davenport Iowa, should be port byron ny.

Well, it sure missed some.  Still though, the old maps didn't add anybody at all, you had to manually add your pin so I guess it's a little better anyway.  Did you move your marker?

Well, after discussing it with the developers, I now know what is happening.  The old forum used separate profile fields for the city and state.  For this map to work properly, the city, state has to be in one field, like Oberlin, OH.  So, I have to come up with a script and query to change it in all the profiles.  I will get it done in the near future.

Mine shows me in Burlington OK but at city hall where the jail is. I hope this ain't some sort of prediction "since I didn't do do it".
