BlueSky Posted September 3, 2020 #1 Posted September 3, 2020 I needed to sync the carbs on my Kawasaki so I decided to buy a gauge set after my sad experience with the Motion Pro Manometer. I ended up overpaying and bought a K&L Gauge set (made in Taiwan). It looks really nice all SS with its own case and has all the fittings needed for different brands. It worked great on my Kawa and I'm pleased so far. The #1 carb on my Kawa was closed off to the point it was missing at idle. Now, it throbs on all four. I had been having problems with the #1 exhaust pipe running much cooler than the rest. After syncing, it ran on all four at idle but the exhaust temp was not up to the rest after a ride. I cleaned the plug which didn't help. I installed new Champion plugs and it is back up to temperature. I'm beginning to wonder about the quality of NGK plugs. when I bought the bike in 2009, the #2 plug was dead. It was 24 yrs old but it only had 1k miles on it.
