Mirror for 83

Dose any one have a mirror base from a broken right hand mirror for a 1Gen 83 or one that would fit.

I want to tap it and see if I could put after market mirrors on them the OEM ones are so high.

I asked about this about a month or so ago and one member was going to send me a set of bases but I never saw them. I had the same idea. They need to be tapped for 10mm, and I am wondering what size the existing hole or the upper section is...
