M61A1MECH Posted August 29, 2020 #1 Posted August 29, 2020 I never was really happy with pulling my black Bushtec Roadstar behind my red Goldwing, but on my retired budget there was no way I could justify spending the money to have it painted, so I removed the chrome edge guard and replaced it with red edge guard. I think it it looks OK.
Guest divey Posted August 29, 2020 #2 Posted August 29, 2020 Quite frankly Steve I like that look much better than a red trailer 👍. Doug
djh3 Posted August 30, 2020 #5 Posted August 30, 2020 Looks good. I was thinking maybe you went and got part of it wrapped or some graphics.
M61A1MECH Posted August 30, 2020 Author #6 Posted August 30, 2020 Looks good. I was thinking maybe you went and got part of it wrapped or some graphics. Yeah toyed with that idea, but it was about 1/2 the cost of painting, what I did was 1/10th the cost of painting.

etcswjoe Posted August 30, 2020 #8 Posted August 30, 2020 Looks good The bottom of mine needs repainted so I may look into doing something similar or maybe black spray on bedliner.
Papa Fred Posted August 30, 2020 #9 Posted August 30, 2020 Nice job, Steve. Great use of creativity instead of throwing money at a problem. I have an Aluma MCT...black side and back panels, and was considering vinyl wrap in something close to my red RSV. I will shamelessly borrow your idea of "accents" on the trailer to compliment the bike rather than compete with it.
