saddlebum Posted August 27, 2020 #1 Posted August 27, 2020 Recently we bought a bag of pretzel dough buns from walmart. Now we have all seen the warning label "MAY CONTAIN NUTS" but would you ever suspected that it would be a STEEL NUT?

WRIDR Posted August 28, 2020 #5 Posted August 28, 2020 Mebbe that's why they call 'em doNUTS? Rgds, WRIDR (With apologies. Hey, WE didn't start it!!~)
chabicheka Posted August 29, 2020 #6 Posted August 29, 2020 Sorry....i had replied assuming you made the dough in the workshop, then realised you had bought it from Walmart. Good opportunity to get Walmart to pay for a new set of dentures.......... , and then you can give them to our buddy, Carl as a birthday present on his birthday ! He seems to be having one every month...hey, if i could get away doing that, i would do that too. Can you imagine how many presents you can get in a year?
Poppa Phill Posted August 29, 2020 #7 Posted August 29, 2020 thats is too messed up, did you Bolt for the nearest Lawyers Office?
Flyinfool Posted August 29, 2020 #8 Posted August 29, 2020 I would certinally send that pic and a pic of the receipt and a polite short letter to the manufacturer. "Just to let them know". In many cases they will send a stack of coupons for freebies to make sure you are not to POed and running to a lawyer.
rbig1 Posted September 3, 2020 #9 Posted September 3, 2020 well there probably still wondering where that nut went when there machine fell apart. Send them a bill for the finders fee.

Marcarl Posted September 4, 2020 #11 Posted September 4, 2020 I bet Walmart would be happy to cover your costs, and become the best of friends in the process. Lots better than Eichenberg Chyrsler I think.
MiCarl Posted September 4, 2020 #12 Posted September 4, 2020 Unfortunately it's hard to find a product that May Contain Bolts.
