I do this cause the opportunity cost associated with him and/or the club mods like Marcarl putting back in the penalty box has got to be absorbed some how.. .... about a guy name Sonny? I had been following a Facebook page about our bikes and it seems a fellow who "owns" the page has quite the hate on for VR.org and will not permit people on "his" page to refer others to this site. He seems to have a big issue with $12.

I guess it just peaked my curiosity is all.

 

Is Dad giving eastern Canadians a discount? Am I the only one paying Canadian rates?

Sorry Sonny....but we are here to support other riders of Ventures and RSTD. Doesn't matter what site you refer people to whether here or your facebook page. Gotta help each other.

 

Anybody ever mention before that you have the nose of a hound dog?

Here Sonny admits to taking the documents on VR.org and putting them on his Facebook page. I take exception to this as I have written and submitted "how to" documents TO VR.org....NOT to his Facebook page. I would think that the documents in the tech section BELONG to VR.org and are not free to the world to repost or take credit for them.

 

Sonny...if you are reading this I ask that you remove any document I wrote and posted on VR.org from your Facebook page. Anything I wrote I have NOT given you permission to use on your Facebook page. As the author of those tech articles I own or gave ownership to VR.org.....NOT to you.

 

Well today I went Carling thru both threads.

What stood out or left the biggest impression on me is that most of the anger is Canadian related. (go figure)

Now what ever happened to our "getalong" Kunckyian JOIE DE VIE?

Ya know turn the other cheek, look the other way, don't fuss over anything you can avoid? HMM

 

None the less I think I have a solution for this most ignorant Canadian Embarrassment: Lets set up a meet with that Looser elect @Marcarl to represent the clubs prospective and if @BIG TOM aint to busy he can distill Carl's speachifying in between ice cream cones and banana splits while Carl smokes the piece pipe on our behalf!!

 

We Can't loose - not with Carl in our corner and Tom there to see he gets back in time for supper

If people that come here from "his" facebook page it is up to them if they want to join and pay $12usd for the camaraderie, technical articles and assistance, and the opportunity to banter with the likes of marcarl and cowpuc. I wasn't trying to lessen the number of members he has in his group but if the info isn't available there to help out other rstd/rsv riders you direct them where it is. Get banned for this ?? And the way he has attacked people for disagreeing with him.....not the canadian way.

It was quite a few years ago that Don asked for a small fee to become a supporting member to VR which pretty much all of us did not mind paying in order to keep a clean site and for Don's time and effort to maintain the site and when I bumped into Sonny at a Timmies Outside Hamilton. Like I said earlier he was so bitter and handed me such a rant that I had to leave the store. I cannot believe that after all this time he is still holding on to that grudge. By now a true adult would see that the major majority do not and did not have an issue with the $12.00/yr dues and would move forward instead of continuing with this petty attitude.
