Grey beard Posted March 10, 2009 #29 Posted March 10, 2009 I just turned 65 in January. Put over 8K miles on rides last year. Wife of 64 loves to ride on the back, so I think we have a while to enjoy two wheels and great roads.
magoo Posted March 10, 2009 #30 Posted March 10, 2009 73 this may got a 650 classic / 86 venture royale putin on the miles love it.
abnormalwon Posted March 10, 2009 #31 Posted March 10, 2009 First off, my helmet is off and I kneel in homage of your years of experience and continued youthful approach to this ride we call life. That said, I was invited to be part of the AARP two years ago so how come I'm too young to be part of this group??? What's up with that? I can honestly say that between my wife and I we hit 102 this year, that get us in?
Mobile Posted March 10, 2009 #32 Posted March 10, 2009 I have been riding since 1956 " 16 yrs.old "and I still look for the slushy spring day to get back on the bike again, I will be 69 this year and no problems and it sure is a great way to live, "back on the road again" mobile

Servicedog Posted March 10, 2009 #36 Posted March 10, 2009 I'll be 64 in July, beginning to have problems with my knees. If they don't get better, then I'll look at "trikes".....either the New HD trike or have my 06 RSV "triked".......
goatturtle Posted March 14, 2009 #37 Posted March 14, 2009 Old is just a mind thing! Turn 67 this Sept and have no intenions of quitting. Have been thinking of triking as my wife has a trike and I do like it.
Thistledown Posted March 14, 2009 #38 Posted March 14, 2009 66 and can't think of any reason not to keep riding. If you live too long you end up in a nursing home, that really sucks
Fvogt Posted March 14, 2009 #39 Posted March 14, 2009 Still a young 74 but don't get time to ride much any more. Fred:thumbsup2:
Sailor Posted March 14, 2009 #40 Posted March 14, 2009 Just turned 65. Went parasailing in Cuba a couple years ago and up in an ultralight in Mexico last month. When I get older I might have to trade down to something lighter....like a VMAX.
