Front brake switch

Is there anybody on here that has removed the front brake switch. My cruise has started acting up and I would like to take it off and get a good look at it. Maybe clean it.

There was a recall for the front brake switch.  

Here is a link to the thread involving that and it has a copy of the letter sent out.
