I just put a deposit down on a 2006 RSV from fitmedic. We have to hammer out the logistics of me taking physical possession, but it's a done deal in my mind.

I've already started making plans to Darkside her and possible lower her as well...

Anyone know where I can get a deal on a Sleepy Time trailer?

Richard, Congrats!

You will like the ride. It's lower (a good thing, right?!), easy to handle despite being heavier. But remember, it's a totally different ride.

I personally feel Yamaha cheapened the 2nd gen.....plastic is flimsier, etc.. But it's still a great ride. remember, I went accros country on my 05 with no issues at all (except a flat tire, @cowpuc repaired for me to get me back on road)...very comfortable.

That was hilarious,, Vaz n Puc repairing Vaz's 2nd Gen flat tire in a parking lot next door to a Honda shop after meeting up and checking out the new Wing :crackup::crackup::witch_brew::stirthepot::stickpoke:..

Rich,, point to ponder when riding your new scoot : ALWAYS WATCH FOR NAILS ON HIGHWAY WHEN TRAVELING THRU CHICAGO TRAFFIC - RIGHT @videoarizona

Don't know about the trailer but I put a Nexan on the back of my '06 with 36lbs. Into triple digits and no issues.

Enlighten me.

What's a Nexan?

Congrats Rich, you will love the 06 once you get use to it. Nick, my grandson has really tore into the maxim and has it looking and running pretty good. Will send some pics when he gets it all together. When I picked up my trike, I rented a car one way, dropped it off at rental center, had trike owner pick me up, swapped paperwork and rode the trike 500 miles home. I also flew out to Kansas city to pick up a bike for Jonas, guy picked me up at airport, put me up for the nite and I was off for home 6am next morning. Sounds like you are in for a road trip.

Good Luck, Craig

Well, that makes sense.

Sorry for taking a while to get back to you, Work and life, imagine that. Yep Brand of Car tire. 165/80/15. I used this site normally when looking at CT's for bikes. https://airtable.com/shrGYrQjwPv0obVJi/tblxn9IHFepMf1bFw?backgroundColor=orange&viewControls=on Extensive database. They recently updated the site format so I recommend using the expanded view. I will say though on the SVTC I got 13K out of the stock tire. I put another one on recently mainly for repair warranty concerns. I have found a dealer that will work on the bike with a CT so I expect to go dark with the next tire change.
