Have any of you ordered parts in the USA and find it takes twice as long to get them and haven't got them yet? Also I ordered parts April 14 from japan the USPS received them but they haven't moved since. There all ready payed for but cant send back or even get them so money wasted. There not Yamaha but from same country. Any one else find that shipping parts has slowed to a crawl. What a messed up time. Just had to complain to someone.:mo money:

Ya, I have 4 or 5 things I'm waiting on from Amazon right now. I think the whole country is buying online, and the distribution centers are having a tough time with employees (my guess). I get this daily email from the USPS and there is a picture of all the mail I will get that day (It's called informed delivery if you want to sign up). Anyways, one day, I saw my new truck Title coming, yay. Took 5 days form about 15 miles to get it. I thought they lost it, I was so pissed I almost went Postal, lol.

Yeppers,, Michigan is kind of messy right now Rod,, same as lots of places I am sure.. My last nail from the nail tosser was a 2 inch metal decking screw of the type meant for steel building siding/roofing.. Right thru the sidewall this time.. Couldnt get the thing to stop leaking with plugs.. Everything around here is locked up tight, ended up picking up a tire online and having it shipped to me.. It was suppose to be a next day delivery and ended up being 4 days.. Having tire spoons and being use to spooning on my own scoot tires I was going to take and attempt at spooning one on a car wheel and balancing it like I do my bike tires but ended up finding a rebellious indy that was open,, mounted and balanced for 11 dollars!! Told em thanks for being there and double thanks for not doing the price gouging routine like many are doing.. Definitely a tippable situation!!

I don't know about all that. I ordered a set of tow mirrors and running boards for my F 350 last week and they came by UPS on Wed. So the son and I put them on yesterday.

My son took his RSTD to the shop last month. Parts were ordered but ETA changed from two weeks to June 6. Other non-bike items I've ordered take forever from overseas.

well I got my parts from Mi. The piston they sent fits a xr not a xl so was a waist of my time. Filled out a conflict complaint with paypal on the one from Japan got a refund asap. Never left japan. So I found a used cylinder and piston from a recycler asked them a couple of times if they knew it was off a xl so will see when I get it. Also bought a new cylinder from David Silver Spares in Pa. Not going to hold my breath on either one. That did away with a cheep bike for grandson. but to late to stop now.:missingtooth: He has seen the bike.

XL...XR...

You must be talking about the legendary Hondas. I've owned both. Used to ride the heck out of my XL500, on the road and off. Same with my old XL350....my first street legal bike.

Started riding the Yammy TTs for hill climbing. I liked the feel of the Honda's a little better, but the Yammys had stronger clutches and chugged just a tad better.

I've an old TT600 that I fire up and run through the woods every once in a while, but I'll never be able to ride it to it's potential again...too scared of getting hurt.:biker:
