Freebird Posted May 17, 2008 #1 Posted May 17, 2008 I'm only going to say a very little about this. I would like to sell my pond. You can also have whatever you find in the bottom. Here are a few rules you might want to remember when you get it home. 1. Ponds are always hungry. 2. Gazebos are a lot like sails or parachutes in high winds. 3. The water is still COLD this time of the year. and that's all I've got to say about that.
Cinderella Posted May 17, 2008 #2 Posted May 17, 2008 no way..............the wifes new gazebo went for a swim???????????? :rotf: oops....tee hee......im so sorry........
Freebird Posted May 17, 2008 Author #3 Posted May 17, 2008 I just spent about 6 hours rebuilding that dang thing. Welding, drilling, bolting, cursing.....

bongobobny Posted May 18, 2008 #8 Posted May 18, 2008 No thanks, Don, I've seen pictures of the Pond Monster that comes ith that pond...
Guest Swifty Posted May 18, 2008 #9 Posted May 18, 2008 ok, my revenge is complete...I'll take the curse off the pond monster when I get there on maintenance day.
Marcarl Posted May 18, 2008 #11 Posted May 18, 2008 Best just take a fat boy and ride around that dang thing a few times, either the fat boy will get faster or the pond smaller. Get your wife to watch so that she can tell which is happening. If the pond dosen't get smaller, try riding the other way around. On second thought you'd best wait a week or two and then there will be more witnesses to this act of bravery.
Skid Posted May 18, 2008 #12 Posted May 18, 2008 If you was to sell the pond, what would you do with the big hole in the front yard?
Lone Eagle Posted May 18, 2008 #13 Posted May 18, 2008 Don, geesh, IT'S NOT EVEN SUMMER YET!!!!!????? How in the HECK did you manage to put the wife's gazebo in the POND???????
Squeeze Posted May 18, 2008 #14 Posted May 18, 2008 Just told my WIfe about you're onto selling the Pond ... She said .... "What does he do with a new/rebuilt Gazebo without a Pond next to it ?
FROG MAN Posted May 18, 2008 #15 Posted May 18, 2008 Ponds are very dangerous. Sometimes your lucky to get out with your life!!! Property well thats another thing. I had ours dozed in about 15 years ago. Why don't you schedule a venture rider fish fry before the heavy equipment moves in.
