When you get to the part with the cup you will see in theory how a venturi works. His first attempt will be modified to a finer tune.

 

Pay close attention to his porting details. After you see this conversion operate, think of how he balanced the physics of the rear piston strokes. I wonder what y'all might think about the effects of that decision, or could you make the case that there is a better/more efficient way to deal with it or think he made the most of the units? Cool crank tho.
