Air Shock Question for 96 Royal Star

Maybe somone has run across a rear Air Shock for a 1996 Royal Star ?

A friend of mine has a 96 and the rear shock is the pitts. Anybody know of a replacement for the stock with an air shock?

Is the shock actually bad, or does he just not like the ride? Unfortunately, there is nothing that can go in its place, at least not easily. Check the operation of the shock and you will see that this shock actually stretches out when the suspension "compresses". It's the strangest thing I've ever seen. Y changed this oddball rear suspension to more conventional setup in the later Ventures and TDs. I do know of one guy who has taken an air shock setup from a Venture and swapped it in, but it requires welding and custom fabrication. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
