DesertLawman Posted March 31, 2020 #1 Posted March 31, 2020 Has anyone added road pegs to the engine guards on 2018 Venture? If so, what did you put on?
cowpuc Posted March 31, 2020 #2 Posted March 31, 2020 Thinking Freebird did this with his Lawman, I may have bonked my head on one while loosing bolts under it, so stuff would fall off and I could tease him about it, while laying on his garage floor last MD.. Don,, what were those purdy things,, Kury-Cans? Hope I aint barking up a wrong tree,, sorry if I woke you up from your beauty sleep for nothing Boss

Unfortunately I am too short for any road pegs I've seen so far. I've been looking at the Jac-Knife pegs as a solution but haven't pulled the trigger yet. These connect to the foot board.
ecbaatz Posted March 31, 2020 #4 Posted March 31, 2020 I added these to my SVTC Has anyone added road pegs to the engine guards on 2018 Venture? If so, what did you put on?

sldunker Posted March 31, 2020 #6 Posted March 31, 2020 When I sold my 2007 RSV I removed the footpegs that was on that bike and reinstalled them on my 2018 Star Venture. They fit very well. They are Kuryakyn Longhorns with the 1 inch clamps.
Freebird Posted April 1, 2020 #7 Posted April 1, 2020 Yes, the same ones used on the RSV work great on the new Venture. I ended up buying some knock off KuryAkyn style off Ebay. I wanted black one and KuryAkyn didn't have them in our size. They worked fine but didn't tight up quiet enough and would slip just a bit. I drilled one hole in each side and used a set screw to solve the problem.
