Well, I finally got to meet my first 2 forum members yesterday. After having spoken on the telephone a number of times, I finally got to meet dragerman and ummm dangit, I forgot his forum name, but Rob was there too! I decided to cut my lawns for the first time, the dirty looks from my neighbors were starting to get to me, so I fired up my lawnmower on one of the nicest days so far this year. Well after cutting the front, I decided to skip the back (who is looking in my backyard anyways?) and go for a ride. I called Charlie, and he was meeting up with Rob to do some work on the bike, but after some discussion decided to come riding, and Rob joined us as well. We met up in Milton, chatted for a while, looked at each others bikes, then hit the road for a quick trip to a little out of the way bakery, that I swear has the best sandwiches around.

The ride was nice, short, but great company. Except for the numnuts kid who just had to squeeze between us, and ride up my ass, but I digress... It was really cool to meet some new riding buddies. We even met a Harley guy, who was out riding by himself (his Harley riding buddies were out buying oil, or fixing something) So I invited him to sit with us, and hang out for a bit. I had to bail, since I was working last night (hence the latenight post) and took my leave of Charlie and Rob. I hope to meet up with more of you at Carls on the 24th, and "maybe" even in Ohio, next month. Sorry no pictures this time, but next time for sure. Oh and if any local riders are going to the Yamaha Demo Ride later today (May 16) at Flamborough downs, look me up, I will be there promoting the B.E.A.T Cancer ride at the event.

Cheers!

Sonny

It was good to finally meet you too Sonny, Rob (onerider) and I took our time going back and enjoyed the ride. That’s a nice little spot... I’m sure we’ll be stopping there again. Keep in touch… guess I’ll see you next weekend at Carl’s. Don’t worry about taking us from our work cuz we were just going to wash the bike anyways. Like I said “if the bike dirty I’ve bin to busy ride’n”.

Perhaps when you see Carl next week you could ask him for any leads on a ‘grazer’ for your back yard... it’ll keep your yard trimmed and fertilized and give ya more ride’n time!
