uncledj Posted March 22, 2020 #1 Posted March 22, 2020 Came across this: Governor Dewine issued a Stay at Home Order. I'm not sure that he can legally do this without being under a state of Martial Law....I'm not sure it's enforcable. Crazy times. I think I'll go hide in the closet and suck my thumb. I already got the closet you just gonna have to find someplace else.
SpencerPJ Posted March 23, 2020 #4 Posted March 23, 2020 I think I'll go hide in the closet and suck my thumb. Keep your hands away from your face Ya, I'm waiting on the order here in Indiana as well. Saw a group of High School kids playing soccer over the weekend, I'm sure if one of them have it, they all will, then their families. This is going to be a long road. Prayers up
cecdoo Posted March 23, 2020 #5 Posted March 23, 2020 Doubt that they "legally" want to arrest everyone, just issueing a strong request to those that would like to slow the spread of this virus. I found so many things to do in the house and shop, stuff I have been putting off for way to long. Working on bikes, closets, shop, and yard, getting a jump on spring, I personally like how it has slowed the world down a bit, although not at the expense of peoples health. If you are bored, stop over, I can find something to keep you busy:Laugh: Craig
rbig1 Posted March 23, 2020 #6 Posted March 23, 2020 well I started to sharpen all the knifes in the house. Should be done with this in a couple of weeks. How did I end up with this many knifes. I figure I'd better buy a bunch of band aids as I haven't used a sharp knife in years. I may need a to me back to health:big-grin-emoticon:
vzuden Posted March 23, 2020 #7 Posted March 23, 2020 Texas is under the same order however, we can have alcohol delivered to our door along with our burritos. Illinois has the same. But the marijuana dispensaries are "essential businesses" in Illinois too and are still open.

SpencerPJ Posted March 23, 2020 #9 Posted March 23, 2020 Illinois has the same. But the marijuana dispensaries are "essential businesses" in Illinois too and are still open. Ya, liquor stores and cigarette shops will be essential too I guess.
uncledj Posted March 23, 2020 Author #10 Posted March 23, 2020 I'm officially laid off. First time I've tried to apply for unemployment bennies since 1988. Turns out due to high volume the website is down. lol At least I'll be able to get some things fixed / done around in the house until this thing blows over. Now....where's the duct tape.
