bossman Posted May 16, 2008 #1 Posted May 16, 2008 Just brought home a 2000 mm RSV. It is the cream colored one. It has 1100 mls on it. I have just riden it 20 miles. Due to rain. It is somewhat different from my 86 . It is going to take some geting used to. Will post some pics soon. I am needing the owners manuel if someone has one they want to part with. Thanks bossman
Mariner Fan Posted May 16, 2008 #2 Posted May 16, 2008 Awesome! Take a picture of your new steed for us! Congratulations Larry.
Guest tx2sturgis Posted May 16, 2008 #3 Posted May 16, 2008 Hey congrats...I think you must be Cliffs friend...he gave us the heads up...its only got a few thousand miles I think. Someone here will have a downloadable manual, so you might post a thread with that as a title...that you are looking for a manual for a 2000 Venture. Did you read our post concerning the day that I met Cliff and Jessica, and we swapped bikes for a short ride? Yeah...the bikes are very different. Same motor, but thats about it. They handle much differently. ( is that a word?) Enjoy.
bossman Posted May 16, 2008 Author #4 Posted May 16, 2008 Yes I am grateful to call Cliff my friend. There is a rally in Ruidoso this weekend I am going sat. morning and meeting up with Cliff and his dad in Roswell.
rsstar Posted May 16, 2008 #5 Posted May 16, 2008 Hey Bossman, congrats on the new-to-you bike. I think you will come to like it a lot. I have the manual from my 06 that you can have. Send me a pm with your address.
cliffno350 Posted May 16, 2008 #6 Posted May 16, 2008 Glad you got her home Larry look forward to seeing your new bike, and thanks friend. We will get some pictures this weekend for sure. :dancefool::dancefool:
MrRadi8 Posted May 16, 2008 #7 Posted May 16, 2008 Congrats. It's not "the cream one", it's THE MM Edition. Owners manual is on here under the 2nd Gen Tech section.
Guest Go_JIM_SANDY Posted May 18, 2008 #8 Posted May 18, 2008 Congrats! I drove from Kansas City to Louisville Ky and endured a couple of snow storms in early March of this year to buy number 192 of 1500 MM Ventures. Yeah pulling a trailer..in the cotton pickin snow and ice..just to get her home. You know what though? I'd do it again for the awesome scooter that she is and mine had 39,000 miles on her. Eleven hundred miles. What did the previous owner do? park in his garage and just admire the bike?
bossman Posted May 19, 2008 Author #9 Posted May 19, 2008 No he broke his knees and just put it in storage at the store. What I have riden it I really do like. Did not make it to Ruidoso due to raining here all day yesterday.
