How do I remove the Striped Graphics

I want to paint my saddlebags. Any suggestions on how to remove the accent striping decals?

I would try a heat gun and see how it peels off, or seeing your going to paint it anyhow....sand them off

If your talking about the pinstrips ?I know on the 05 they are under the clearcoat so the only way is with sandpaper. If your talking about the little "Venture" plaque then like squidley said of fishing line works well

Thanks for the advise. I am talking about the pin stripe so I will have to sand it off. I tried peeling it but it kept chipping.
