Hello, Oh I do not know anything about tires other than I know we need two of them. Unfortunately, I know we need a new rear tire for the 99RSV. I asked Moped yesterday if he has ordered one as yet. So my question is, is it nagging to keep asking if he ordered one?

I think it shows that I want to ride this riding season, and I want the bike to be safe.

Now as many know, in the years past, Moped has decided to tear the bike completely apart right before MD in Oberlin. I guess he likes stress or what ever you would call it.

Nahhhh not to worry your pretty little head off there sister, a feller has to do what he has to do, and maintenance day is just what it means, that's when it's TIME to do those things, or at least as close as possible,, so the night before is most ideal.

Okay let me get this straight. I should not worry about the fact that our rear tire has lasted for quite a few years. And even if it seems as thought Moped has not ordered a new tire, I should just get out my whip and give him attention. I think I have this a bit mixed up, but oh well.

Well Moped is riding in the middle so he gets you to cushion him should the old rear tire crack the sidewalls on a hot road..

I guess he has nothing to worry about unless he drops the bike and;; you get up before he has a chance to run;)

Patch some how that does not make me feel any better. So I guess I will just sit here tonight holding on to my whip as I watch Moped sleeping in his recliner. I really can't wait until Spring.

Another thing to keep in mind Miss Peggie, is that Moped maybe looking after your best interests, after all, why replace an old tire with another old tire,,, a feller needs to get the freshest one available, so he waits,,, waits for all the old ones to get sold to others and so a day or two before you really can't wait anymore, you order your new tire. That way you are assured that you have the freshest tire on the market and it will last to the furthest date possible,,,,,yep,, Moped is doing a good job and you might well spend a few words to compliment him on his concern for your welfare.

Na Mama would defend us, she knows the value of our experience;)

Or Mama just order the tires and present them to him. All you have to do is ask the forum which tires to buy, but by the time you read all the opinions on that MD will have come and gone.

Marcarl you have enlightened me on this subject. I understand completely. I want to thank Moped for holding off purchasing any new old tire for our bike. You probably are right he is only thinking of our welfare.

But Saddlebum says he is still the best hugger.

@saddlebum can says what he wants, it's still a free country and I guess that's why soo many Dutchmen moved here. As far as the hugging thing goes,,, he can be the best,,, that's just fine with me,,, but it means that I still have room to practice some more.

There is a picture that come to mind, and it's a pyramid of crows with four at the bottom and one at the top, the one at the top is all nice and clean but the ones on the lower tiers are covered in white stuff to some degree,,, the caption says to look up or something like that,,, I'm ok where I'm at!!

Well Carl, looks like Moped owes you one;)

Moped don't owes me nothin', best he spend what he has on a new tire...... and hug from Mama.

So in other words, if I hug Marcarl, we get a new tire. That is so kind of you Marcarl. You are the best. I am so excited. I am just kidding, I know that my hugs are not worth a new tire, but it sounded good. Although I am a really good hugger.

Now that you brought up the subject, the last time we hugged weren't you the one who was commenting about a spare tire? or was that somebody else?

Oh-my-God Carl.

Its daylight savings, your shift to go and milk the chickens, be quick about it and maybe don't come home this week.

Best scoot now before Mama checks up on you...

Marcarl, Perhaps your three wheel scoot has a spare tire, but since we are still on the two wheel variety we do not have a spare. If we did have a spare Moped would be making me carry the dang thing. Hehehehe. And I would never say anything like that.

Maybe a cruise is a good idea Carl? Your chances are comparable perhaps better;)

Something you need to know about me,,, I don't fly, and I think a cruise is a waste of time,,,, never been on one, but if I did, I would miss soooooo much local stuff. And there is no danger from Mama, she is sooooo lovable!!!

Marcarl I think we are once again off topic. All I was asking was who needs to get new tires for their scoots? I just wanted to clarify that I am totally innocent unless I am proven guilty. All the names have been changed to protect the innocent if there are any innocent folks here.

Now with all that being said, the weather is getting nicer and the bike is saying let's go on a ride but what the heck about getting a new tire.

I am real excited about coming to the MD again. I just hope my hugging is up to you high standards.
