bpate4home Posted March 3, 2020 #51 Posted March 3, 2020 This video shows another opinion and dates to 2015... I am not aware at the moment if L.A. has changed their engagement rules? But I have seen in videos where L.A. citizens have taken matters into their own hands over this.. The idea of GPS tracker is a solid one. Shortcomings include the range though. I checked out their site and they have no specs on range listed but looking at the demo video's the range is very limited. With this you must be close to the suspect. Would there be a chase to get close enough? Also going back to this being about a bike chase, I see little to no success with this against a bike. The line needed to hit a bike with any accuracy/success rate has to be astronomical.
Patch Posted March 6, 2020 Author #52 Posted March 6, 2020 This video just showed up. It must have been a long chase more than would is show.. Gets crazy around the 17 min..
Patch Posted March 10, 2020 Author #53 Posted March 10, 2020 Who's right? I cannot get my head around the need to continue chase nor the outcome and what was said by the arresting officer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-_tj5sSKkc
